What does "Do not judge" mean?

 The Bible tells us not to judge.

First of all, the definition of the word  Judgement:

Faculty of the mind that allows to judge

shows us that it is not enough to say "do not judge" as if it were a slogan.

On the contrary, life depends on our ability to judge.

Which is enforced by the synonyms of the word:

                                     Discernment, Common Sense, Evaluation, Consideration

At Mass this morning, it is the new parish priest who is saying mass.
I like him, he is natural, solid, intelligent, grounded.
And he has a quality that it takes me a while to name.
I realize afterwards that it is because it is such a rare quality,
not many people have it.
It is true humility.

Later on in the day I go to visit my friend; the donkey.
He is in his little field together with some sheep (all black) and some chicken,
plus the magnificent rooster.
The donkey is gorgeous.
He is always delighted to see me, today too.
When he hears me coming, he runs up to the fence.
I give him some of the delicious weeds and grass that I am able to pick from the outside of the fence, and I feed him through the holes in the wire.
He knows that it is a gesture of love, and not a question of feeding, because he does that himself,
he does not need me for that!
Then he nibbles on my jacket sleeves as best he can, through the little openings, and I feel that
this is how he shows me his love.
There is something completely adorable about him.
It is his humility.
I understand why Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, and not on a horse!

Since I was little I have looked for someone to help and to heal me.
If I had only known then that the Person that can do that, was so near, is still near,
and will always be near, I would have avoided many traps, but there you go.........

That Person is Jesus, who Was, Is, and always Will be.

No other person can really understand you, no matter how much they love you,
or are motivated to help you, and no matter how intelligent or qualified they might be.

They cannot really understand you, for the simple reason that they are not you!

Jesus, on the contrary, knows everything about you, he knows you intimately.
He knows every small problem you are worried about and every single burden you have.
And when you approach Him for help, He has all the time for you as if no one else exists.
That is how valuable you are to Him and how absorbed He is in you.

 He is The Truth and The Way that will lead you to The Life.

I do not know about you, but that is the God that I want!

I do not want any other one than This One, the Only True One.

What is Man

Happy and Holy Christmas as we celebrate the Incarnation of Our Lord

"What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visit him?
For You have made him a little lower than the angels,
And You have crowned him with glory and honor.
You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands;
You have put all things under his feet"
(Psalm 8:4-6 (NKJV))

When I pray:

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name ;
I pronounce that God, who is invisible, exists, and that I honour Him

Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven;
I want His will to be done in me, even though I do not know what that is yet,
only that it implies letting go of my own will. I face the unknown.

Give us this day our daily bread;
Give me Jesus in the Holy Eucharist, who is the Real Bread of Life

And forgive us our trespasses;
Remove my guilt in the Sacrament of reconciliation

As we forgive those who trespass against us;
Eliminate any feelings of anger, bitterness or antipathy towards anyone that has done me wrong

Let us not enter into temptation;
Let me always be awake and aware in order that I do not fall

But deliver us from evil ;
Protect me from the Evil one, who is everywhere

How to teach your child to be a good consumer

Formation of a materialistic mind

Santa Claus:

A perfect business conception

When your child is small, all he wants is to have his biological needs, and his need for love, fulfilled.

Those are his "values" in life.

Trusting God

What does it mean to "trust God?"

If I surrender myself to God, if I hand myself over, consciously,
I let Him act in me.
If I do not, He can not find a place to enter me,
because I would be full (of myself).

There is no conflict between religion and science

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth

«'A Day Without Yesterday': Georges Lemaitre & the Big Bang
In January 1933, the Belgian mathematician and Catholic priest Georges Lemaitre traveled with Albert Einstein to California for a series of seminars. After the Belgian detailed his Big Bang theory, Einstein stood up applauded, and said, "This is the most beautiful and satisfactory explanation of creation to which I have ever listened."

Divine Life lives inside us

It is covered over by our sins, that is why so many people has lost awareness of it.
When jealousy, envy, fear, anxiety, anger, lies, falseness, hypocrisy, materialism, greed,
unforgiveness, bitterness, arrogance, self importance, pride, selfishness, guilt, condemnation, ambition, all sorts of addictions, disbelief, the interior refusal to accept things that one cannot change, conformity to the world, etc. takes up too much place in us,
the connection with God is not possible.

Our work consists in eliminating that, and then we start to see the reality.

The sovereignty of God

The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit

When we recognise our limits, our smallness, we recognise Him who made us. Then with our reasoning, we practise trusting Him who made us in His image.

Mystery of God- mystery of man

It is not easy to apply the teachings of The Catholic Church,

but Jesus Christ is the Only Son of God.

It is demanding to be a professed and practising catholic.

Very difficult, the bar is set high.

It is, after all, a supernatural religion.

But that does not mean that we are in the clouds, on the contrary; it is crucially important to be in the here and now; physically, psychologically, emotionally, being realistic, awake and aware, no matter the circumstances.
