Teaching and Transmission of The Truth

The teaching

In order to fulfill her obligation to transmit the Faith

The Catholic Church ought to teach properly the meaning of the 7 Sacraments:

  • Baptism.
  • Eucharist.
  • Confirmation.
  • Reconciliation.
  • Anointing of the sick.
  • Marriage.
  • Holy orders

The authentic faith of the Catholic Faith is not vague, subjective, wishy-washy.

Unfortunately in some parishes it has become like that.

At a recent Mass in a village in France, the parents who wanted to baptize their baby

had to, as is required in France, to publicly announce it and give their reasons for why

they wanted it.

In her statement the woman said that they wanted to baptize the child because it was "a strong

symbol and tradition in her family". The priest was standing next to her as she was speaking,

and he did not make any mention to the fact that baptism is the most fundamental Sacrament

without which we can not become co-heirs with Christ.

This is the church today.

It is no doubt linked to the protestant Alpha program that has been rolled out in catholic churches

all over the world, in an effort to attract people to the church.

Because in this program the Sacraments are not mentioned once.

And the bishops themselves do not have a problem with the Alpha program being rolled out in

catholic churches.

But in any case, any human efforts to "attract" people are doomed to fail anyway, because it is

Jesus that attracts.

 The efforts of destruction

The retreats in The Foyers of Charity in Chateauneuf-de-Galaure, where Marte Robin lived,

are based on the teaching of  Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort.

It has brought very many people into the faith and it has inspired many people to consecrate

their life to the Lord.

Now there is to be released a book about Marthe Robin which seeks to prove that she was a

fraud, written by the deceased "eminent writer and catholic expert" Conrad De Meester.

Conrad De Meester had drawn up his report regarding Marthe Robin, it had been submitted

to Rome, they did not believe it.

On the contrary; Marthe Robin was declared Venerable by Pope Francis, a key step to

beatification, and the Pope recognized her as being "heroic in virtue".

At her funeral there was 4 bishops and over 200 priests.

But there is a section of the French Catholic Church that wants to become even more

protestant than they are already, and they have never accepted Marthe Robin.

It is hardly a coincidence that this manuscript is published a few months after the conclusion

of the independent exterior research commission, whose identity is unknown, commissioned by the

Foyers of Charity themselves; not with a view to a trial intending to find Father Finet, (the priest

that Marthe worked with in setting up the Foyers) guilty or innocent, but with a view to accord

a space for listening to testimonies from former pupils.

And to find out exactly what had taken place, in order to eliminate the risks of that happening again.

Father Finet  has been dead for 30 years.

This retreat center is one of excellence and this was part of their continuous efforts to

improve themselves.

The vast majority of the testimonies from 143 former pupils of the school (school founded by

Marthe Robin and Père Finet) were positive regarding the priest, but 14 stories recounted

"body touches" on the area of the neck, chest, arms, back, buttocks and legs, and questions of

sexual nature during confession.

As already mentioned, the research commission's identity is kept secret and equally the rapport itself.

A large number of the former students are saying that they testified in good faith, but they now feel

that they have been abused by the commission, as they do not know into which category their

testimony has gone. They are wondering if they have become "victims" without knowing it.

Did for example a simple buttoning of an apron become a "body touch"?

They underline that Père Finet was like a father to them, and had fatherly gestures.

The former students and Father Finet's family are urging The Vatican to review the case in a

fully transparent manner and to interrogate the members of the commission.

But, in the meantime, what better time than to make a profit from releasing this book...

Remember:

"Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save."

(Psalm 146:3)

«Put no trust in a neighbor; have no confidence in a friend; guard the doors of your mouth from her who lies in your arms; for the son treats the father with contempt, the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.»

(Micah 7: 5-6)

«It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.»

(Psalm 118:8)

«Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord. He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come. He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?»

(Jeremiah 17:5-9)

The devil, who is everywhere, also present in the church, suffers a lot from jealousy.

He hates the success this retreat has had in bringing people

to Jesus. He wants an end to it. But he will not succeed.

The Foyers of Charity are established all over the world, that is all the "evidence" anyone should

need to the authenticity of Marthe Robin.

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."

(John 10:10)

JESUS Is THE Way, THE Truth, And THE Life! Part 2 | Trinity and Humanity

Not knowing the future

We all make plans, and along with our projects we normally envisage how

we are going to carry them out.

But to surrender to God means to lay our projects, our problems, our pain

and our entire lives in His hands.

To live in a state of accepting not knowing how our life is going to pan out,

we hand over control to God.

That does not mean that we lose control over ourselves, on the contrary,

surrender to God helps us greatly to become more centered and focused,

with a deep and constant awareness that we are dependent on Him.

Neither does it mean that we become passive, and let Him do everything, again,

on the contrary, we want to use and develop the talents that he gave us.

In this process of handing ourselves over, what does Jesus want us to do?

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart,

and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

(Matthew 11:28-30)

The way I understand this is that we have to follow the precepts of the Lord.

If  we do what He tells us to do;

Trust Him

Let go of our attachments (especially to money, whether one has it or not,
the nature of the attachment is the same)

Go to Mass

Pray the prayers of the Church

Fast on Fridays, Go to regular Confession, Read the Bible,

Telling others about God; Evangelizing.

This is not too much to ask: "my yoke is easy and my burden is light"

This way we can become God's co-operators, co-workers.

But we need to stay alert!  We are working for God's Kingdom,

with people we need to be vigilant, because people (=sinners) are not to be trusted.

Awareness!

There are many people that are convinced that the aforementioned requirements

are not important, they say that it suffices that you are kind to your neighbour, and

that you help others.

That is important, for sure, but no, it is not enough, true Catholic Faith has those

requirements. It keeps the focus continually on Jesus, and not on ourselves.
